Hi,
is there a way the kanban board to be sorted by the task? This will make it much easier to see the task and the sub-tasks below accumulated. At the moment, the kanban columns are sorted by the automated issue name/number.
Thank you in advance for the support
Are you looking to show which sub-tasks belong to each parent task?
One option I see used is to move the parent task to a swimlane, listing the sub-tasks below it. To do this:
An alternative is to click on any Task and when the issue detail view opens (on the right-hand side), you can see sub-tasks in here grouped together.
^ Give this a try. If this is not what you want, let us know what you'd like to see :)

Hi Stephen,
i would like to have the task with the sub-tasks bundled under each column rather than searching all tasks to see if you missed any.
The current view I have is sorted by sub-task/task name. The name is a default work (procure) and a number to make it unique. When you move a task from one column to the other (i have 4 columns: Blocked, Do, In Progress and Done) the system sorts by name. If you have not created all task and subtask at the same time to get a consecutive number, the system splits the subtasks and task-based on their name. SO you might have a subtask pending at the top and more subtask at the bottom of the list under the same column.
Hope this makes sense.

Apologies for the delay responding - did you find a solution for your problem?
It sounds like you want the Task and Sub-Tasks to move in parallel across the board - is this what you're looking to do?
I.E The Task moves from "To Do" to "In Progress", so all the Sub-Tasks should also move with the Task to "In Progress" also?

Create a swim lane based on a JQL where query could be Issue Type = Task. Try it.
