Hello,
I have a question regarding the kanban board issues. I use Jira with several companies I work for and for one client I see issues that are squared shape and look squashed. The kanban board looks rather overwhelming and issues are unintelligible. On the other hand, i have Jira for another client and the issues that are placed in the kanban board are rectangular and are very well-spaced from each other which makes it more readable .(see screenshots )
why this discrepancy? How can I have the issues to look exactly how they are in the second screenshot , namely , rectangular shaped? It looks neater
thanks
Hi Massimo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Thanks for the screenshots. The simple answer is that the board is designed to fill the screen. So a board with fewer columns will have those issues stretched to filling in the screen.
Also, if you are using Company-managed projects, you might try the Better Jira free Chrome Extension. It will let you set the width of the columns.

Hello John thanks for the answer. That’s the thing even by having less columns , the issues are displayed the same way namely squared. So I am trying to understand why in one board they are rectangular and on the other they are squred
oh I was unaware of that . Would that allow to set the kanban board column size ?
