Kanban Menu is incomplete for some boards

Jeff Cox February 4, 2019

We have multiple Kanban boards on the same project.   Some boards show the full list of menu options in the left panel:  Kanban Board ( with a drop down selector) , Releases, Roadmap, Issues, Components, and Project Shortcuts

Other boards only show Kanban Board ( with no drop down) Reports, and Roadmap, and no project shortcuts section.

Any thoughts on why this happens?

We are on Jira 7.6.8

Hello Jeff,

Can you confirm if it is not a business project board that you are seeing?

Also, could you please take a screenshot of both boards you are talking about?

We will further investigate it from our side once you provide us with this information.

Hi

Here are screen shots from two boards.  as far as I can tell they are configured the same.   I am not sure what a business board is, but I am pretty these are not.

Hello Jeff,

The format you see in the board 6.15 Hardening happens when the board filter is configured to return issues from multiple projects and you don't have the Admin permission for all projects returned in the board.

Can you please check if this is the case?

That was it!  I added a filter for a single project and I now have the full menu.  Thanks!
