Hi all,

I realize this may be an unusual method, but have a situation that this would work well for.

Using Classic, I know we can move any status to the Backlog column of the Kanban board settings (and have multiple status appear in the backlog.

What I would like is to have a status appear in both the backlog, and other columns of the Kanban board.

Example:
Status "To Do", and Status "Hold" to both appear in the backlog view

While, in the Kanban board, "Hold" also appears in a column named "Hold"

What I'm stuck with, is when I move status "Hold" to the backlog column, it can't be simultaneously shown in the "Hold" column.

Is there a way to pull this off?

Thanks Much

Hi Dave - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There is absolutely no way to do this. You will have a have another status as a single status cannot appear in two separate columns on the same board.

One option might be to have it on one column on one board and have it in another column on another board. But it is impossible in the same board.
