We have a KanBan board that tracks all ticekts assigned to our engineers to track workload but leave the KanBan board when the go into QA. We're looking to keep tickets in the KanBan board when they are in the QA phase so that engineers won't be assigned additional tickets if 1/2 their tickets are in QA. Is there a good way to implement this?

First, you need to identify what is causing the tickets to leave the board. Is it because the statuses used by the QA board are not on the Kanban Board? Does the board filter specifically not include QA statuses?
Thanks John! The board is currently filtered so that it only shows tickets when they are assigned to the Engineering Team.
I'm wondering if there's a way to keep tickets on the board when they are assigned to QA without having to include all QA tickets on the board because not all QA tickets start as tickets for engineers. Ideally, we'd want the board only show tickets if the original assignee was an engineer. Any insight on if that's possible?
If not, we're open to additional suggestions and updates in how we filter the kanban board!

How do you know if the original assignee is an eningeer or not?
You might want to add a custom field that captures a value when the assignee is an engineer. Then in your query, you can check for that value.
