Hi, I am preparing an upgrade from Jira 3.5 to 6.1. The former jira-administrator told me that I had to install every major versions up to 4.4.5, but according to what I read in the upgrade documentation, I can upgrade directly from 3.5 to 4.4.5 (paying attention to the upgrade guides of the intermediate major versions) and then from 4.4.5 to 6.1.

Did I miss something in the documentation?

yes you are right, first you have to upgrade your jira to 4.4.5 and then you have to upgrade to jira 6.X
