Jira upgrade from 7.2.6 to 8.5.6 is failing during startup.

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade Jira software from 7.2.6 to 8.5.6 along with MySQL data migration from 5.6 to 5.7.

First, I had dumped my jiradb database to New MySQL 5.7 DB. Then I pointed my Jira application-home to Jira 8.5.6.

But when I try to start 8.5.6, it says:

"Running JIRA startup checks.

Startup check failed. JIRA will be locked.""

Please help.

You will need to read the application log to find out why it is locking Jira.

You should find the important one with the reason in it at <jira home>/log/atlassian-jira.log
