Jira ticket comments deleted automatically

Few latest comments for a Jira Tickets are deleted automatically on Jira. Not sure how they got deleted. No history too.

They are really important. How to find them?

Once deleted, comments cannot be restored. The Activity tab only shows that a comment was deleted, not its content. It might be possible to see them in site backup.

Please review the permission settings to ensure that only authorized users have permission to delete comments.

You can check the audit logs for further details.

This is a public forum, members here can't access you instance.

Check the audit log on the project who deleted the comments, or it might be automation rule.

First reach out to you Jira administrator or your IT department if needed.

Deleted information can't be restored if no backup has been made.
