On a fresh Jira project, configured with Scrum, when trying to define the first sprint every user stories we have are correctly added but tasks, even if they are shown in the sprint after the drag and drop (or other ways of moving it into the sprint) AND a notification mail has been received to indicate the change, stay in the backlog.
The sprint context is already Global (no change needed) and I did not find any réindexation option as told on some resource we found.
I can take some screen shots (coming).
What I see on the backlog is 1st user stories then tasks. When I want to put a task on top of backlog it does not move and stay after the U.S.
In the board I just see our user stories added to the sprint. Task simply look stuck in the bottom of the backlog.
Note that this is a "next gen project".
Screenshots :
Adding a task via drag & drop (note, the sprint has been started thinking these tasks were inside, hence the confirmation modal). Going to "board" it does not appear in the board and once back on the backlog view it's back at its initial place.
No configuration has been added to the board, we created the project, added "tasks" issues type then started to work adding some epics and issues in backlog, this is the first sprint of the Jira project.

Hi @Raphaël Bellec,
Are you able to take some screenshots of the board configuration, what you are seeing on the board and backlog, etc?
Thanks

All, including connexion to a fresh and still empty Confluence space, except reports. This is my first time using Jira so I basically used a project with no modification except adding tasks issue type and link to confluence space.

Hi @Raphaël Bellec,
From my understanding, please correct me if I am wrong;
Is this correct?

Hello,
I am thinking about trying to create another project and start from scratch first before taking any decision about not using Jira in the team. This may take less time than trying to fix this one where I do not remember having done anything out of basics operations.

Hi @Raphaël Bellec,
Sounds like a good idea since your JIRA journey has just started 😀
Let me know how it goes with setting up a classic project.
Thanks
