Hi Atlassian Community,
I'm facing critical issues with Jira (Cloud) subtasks in Safari:
Subtask list item height: Rows are much shorter than in Chrome, making them hard to read/edit.
Drag-and-drop sorting: Fails 90% of the time—can't grab items by the row or left edge.
Priority dropdown clipping: Dropdown gets cut off by the subtask list container, making priority selection impossible for most subtasks unless they're at the top of a long list.
These issues make Jira unusable in Safari, forcing me to switch browsers. Can anyone confirm or suggest workarounds? Atlassian, is this a known issue? Could you please fix it for macOS/Safari users?
Environment:
Browser: Safari 18.6
OS: macOS Sequoia 15.6.1
Jira: Cloud
Device: MacBook Pro M1 Max
Happy to provide screenshots/logs. Thanks!
Best regards,
Max.
