Jira structure does not display correct items when added to a confluence page

Hi all, I've set up a structure in Jira to show the progress of a particular task and all sub-tasks attached to it. When i add the structure to a confluence page it will initially show the task and sub-tasks I set up; however, after a few seconds it refreshes to show other items that have nothing to do with my task and sub-tasks. I must have missed a step when I created the structure. Any hints on how I can get the structure to stop refreshing to other work in confluence?

David from ALM Works here. It sounds like you are referring to our app, Structure - Project Management at Scale. If I have this right, it would be helpful to understand more about your set up.

• First, are you currently running Jira & Confluence Cloud or on-prem?
• Was the underlying structure built Manually or using Generators? And does the behavior appear not only in the Confluence gadget, but in the structure itself?
• Are you using Transformations in the structure?
• Do you have any filters set up in the Confluence Gadget?

In response to your questions:

• First, are you currently running Jira & Confluence Cloud or on-prem? I think its on-prem, i work for a gov agency.
• Was the underlying structure built Manually or using Generators? And does the behavior appear not only in the Confluence gadget, but in the structure itself? Structure was built manually and the behaviour only appears in the gadget - the structure itself is fine.
• Are you using Transformations in the structure? No
• Do you have any filters set up in the Confluence Gadget? No

You are very welcome!  Thank you for the additional information.  

The next step is going to be to check which version of Structure you are currently on.  It sounds like you are experiencing a bug that was resolved in structure 6.3.0.

Please follow the steps below to identify the current version.

• Open your structure
• Click on the blue "info" button on the bottom right side of the screen
• Find version at top of the dialogue box

Let me know what you find!  If the version is lower than 6.3.0, an upgrade will be the recommendation.

If it's 6.3.0 or higher, something else may be happening and we will want to collect some logs.  It will be best to do that, if necessary, directly through our support channel w/ your Jira administrator as a participant.

Thanks again. Following your instructions the version I have is 6.0.0. I guess that will mean I'll need to try and obtain an update from our Jira support people.
