Hi @David Whitlock ,
Welcome to community :)
I understand you would like to know information of who renamed the sprint.
Presently there is not feature to identity this.
Moreover, we have a feature request to include the ability in Jira to show name change history in the issues directly. You can track the feature request here-
I've added internal comments linking this ticket to the feature requests for the dev team's reference and priority alignment.
Additionally, we have an information page that details how our Development team handles the implementation of new features: Implementation of New Features Policy
You may also reach out to https://support.atlassian.com/, so that team can gain access to your instance and try checking if the details can be got from the backend.
Thank You,
Prachi
Hi @David Whitlock ~ I would love to have this feature as well -- seems like such a basic thing to have missing, though it is available in Jira Cloud. There is a feature request for this that you may want to upvote: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-20355
As a side note, if you have ScriptRunner you may be able to use this code from the Adaptavist library to write Sprint name changes to the Audit Log. I haven't personally done this but it looks like it could work. https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/write-to-audit-log

In Jira, there is no out-of-the-box feature that provides direct tracking of changes like renaming a sprint.
Maybe you can try using the Rest API.
