Jira split task functionality does not set the assigned team field to the same valu that the origina

Hi,

We use a custom field called Assigned Team(s) to segregate issues in the product backlog and have multiple teams working in the same project space.

Using the split functionality for a task on the backlog view of a scrum board does not set the Assigned team(s) for the newly created split task.

Can anyone please help on this. Please let me know if any plug-in is there to resolve above query..

I am also facing the problem..
