Dear support,

Ref:  PA-89728 Purchasing and Licensing Request: General inquiries

Today my Jira Core evaluation license expired. Unexpected is that now my Jira Software starter license is depending on it and is disabled.

In PA89728 it was clearly explained that there is no dependency on Jira Core license for Jira Software users.

Can you help to solve this?

Kind regards,

Reinier Bodemeijer

Hello @Reinier Bodemeijer

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

In fact, Jira Software application is a standalone product so you just need a Jira Software license to make it work. In other words, you don't need a Jira Core license to use Jira software.

Additionally, I see that your Jira software license is currently active, so you should be able to access your Jira Software properly. I believe that the disablement of your Jira software instance might be caused by the incorrect licensing added in your server, however, there is no way to know it for sure without further details.

That being said, please contact our licensing team using the portal below so we can take a look at what might be causing the issue:

Additionally, please also mention the previous request created (PA-89728) so our licensing team can have the context of your scenario.

Let us know once they reach back to you.
