Dear readers,
I'm having an issue on the Jira's next-gen projects in the Scrum boards Roadmap.
I've created Epics and under this epics I've linked several issue types (Story, 'normal' issues/tasks, and sub-tasks).
I've set the start, end and due-date for the Epic and all linked (sub)tasks&stories.
All issues are shown on the Roadmap with a timeline bar, but somehow the Epics child get a timeline of infinite length.
What's going on here? It would be so very usefull for our teams to use this feature.
Or did I find a loophole?
Oke,
so I've found that the start and end dates of the 'underlying' issues are defined by the sprint begin and end date. So, moving the end date of the sprint to 8/4/2022 makes them 'finite'. But the individual issues are not taking their own start and end dates, but they are inheriting the sprint dates.
Does someone know how to solve that?
Best regards
Oke,
can't be solved. Must use premium to get this kind of features or use the jira work management (very basic but I think will do)
