Hi there,
So I have a user that is trying to send messages to the @{{assignee}} using a JQL query.
One of the users is not receiving the message on slack and we can see that rule is failing for that user at the automation. When checking further we notice that the only different thing that the user had compared to the others is a "hyphen" on his email. Could this be the issue? I tried with also another user with a "hyphen" on his email and the rule also failed.
I have also tested the slack webhook for another rule and is working fine.
This is the query I'm using but I also used a different one and it fails the same.
project = DIEX AND issuetype = Experiment AND "status" != cancelled AND status != closed AND "end date" <= startOfDay(-60d) AND assignee is not EMPTY
So here you can see the rule and. the log that is failing for one issue only, which is the one that has a user with a "hyphen" on his email

Hi @Lidia Venturi -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Would you please post images of your complete rule (including details where the Slack message is sent) and of the audit log details showing the rule's successful and failure execution? Those may provide some context for the community to offer suggestions. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Bill

Hi! Please try to keep your posts to one thread. That will help others who look at this information later see when there are multiple possible answers to a question. Thanks!
Next, I note you are sending to "@{{assignee}}" in the message action for the "Channel or User". Perhaps there is something not working for the default field of the smart value in this case where there are hyphens in the email address.
I recommend replacing that expression with "@{{assignee.emailAddress}}" to see how that helps.

Hi Bill thank you for your reply.
I have just tried with "@{{assignee.emailAddress}}" and still doesn't work, any other suggestion?
