I was looking into the 'pages' feature in Jira for my team and ran into some issues.

- We currently run a Jira Software Cloud and Confluence Cloud setup, however both are on a different domain.

- When trying to 'Create my first page' via Jira pages, it says that I need to extend my Jira subscription with a Confluence license.

I've dug around a bit and found this link from Jira regarding the pages feature which states 'When you have Jira and Confluence on the same instance, you just need to connect a Jira project with a Confluence space, and you're good to go.'

So obviously this doesn't apply to my situation since we don't run Jira and Confluence on the same instance. However I was wondering if anyone else is/has been in this situation and knows if there's some kind of workaround or other solution available.

I already created an Application Link between Jira and Confluence, but i'm not quite sure which functionality this grants within Jira.
