Jira login page - too many data transferred

Hello, on out data center Jira we got a lot for data transfer if you open the login page https://jira.company.net. We are at 7-8 MB if not cached, if yes it is approx 4-5 MB.

The biggest transfer (4,65 MB) is because of this  - https://jira.company.net/s/03eb3b47d378aa5eddb8d88a4523d6c1-T/-xnn9do/78000/d0eddfad26ebadbcbdb2d1110ad42b45/8ab44bf315b13887c7db1bdb9c6957af/_/download/contextbatch/js/atl.dashboard,jira.general,jira.global,atl.general,-_super/batch.js?agile_global_admin_condition=true&is-server-instance=true&jag=true&locale=en-UK&sd_operational=true&tempo_is_jira_version_equal_or_greater_than_7.0.0=true&tempo_is_tempo_core_licensed=true&tempo_is_tempo_timesheets_license_valid=false&whisper-enabled=true

Is it possible to change setting somewhere to lower the data transfer? I can print the web dev.tools Network output if necessary.

Thank you all for any advice.

Stanley

By default Jira tends to send users to the system dashboard when loading the site for the first time.  Given the URL you listed it looks like you have the tempo plugin and perhaps there are other gadgets/elements on your dashboard that might take a long time to load.

You could take a look at Configuring the default dashboard documentation.  Perhaps it would be better to remove extraneous gadgets from this specific dashboard and place them on a new different dashboard for users to utilize.   Perhaps you have a lot of gadgets or data on this system dashboard that maybe all users don't need to see immediately everytime they login.

Additionally you could look into changing your user profile's default Jira home page.  This is the page you are typically taken to immediately after you login to Jira.
