We recently upgraded to Jira core 7.12.0.
We then decided to apply the license key we were already in possession of
This could only be applied to the 7.2.4 software as the new core part would not accept the key. The expiry date has extended to 2019 as expected for the 7.2.4 part. Will this be a problem? do we need a new key?
Hi Richard,
I see you have one license associated with your email for Jira Software, which expires 27 November 2018.
Can you show me which screen is showing that it's extended until 2019?
Regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon
It's on the Applications tab, versions & licenses in the the Administration section of Jira
Thanks
Richard

Thanks, Richard.
I spoke with a member of our Advocates team, and they let me know that your main billing contact had processed a renewal with your reseller, so this date you are seeing is accurate.
It is not due to you having used the license on a new instance.
I hope that clarifies things for you. Let us know if you have any further questions about it.
Regards,
Shannon
