Hey folks,

I set some configurations on my Google Sheets via Jira add-on that should have brought some information about the events happening in my project.

It used to work, however, its showing several problems I tried following them but no avail.

They recommended following the steps below

Multiple Google accounts detected

Google Sheets add-ons may encounter errors if you have multiple Google accounts logged into your browser session. Here are 2 options to work around this issue: 1. Log out of all other Google accounts except for the account you installed this add-on with. 2. Make sure the Google account you installed this add-on with is the default Google account in the current browser session. The default account will be the first Google account you logged in to in your current browser session and will show (default) next to it in the Google account selector.
They didn't worked, I also found NetworkError: Connection failure due to HTTP 403, but my admin team told me that I should be cleared to have this accessparte 2.pngparte 1.png

If reliability and interoperability are critical for you, then use Better Excel Exporter app!

It is more reliable, because it depend only on Jira, not on both Google Sheets and Jira.

And, it is more universal and helps to avoid vendor lock-in, as the XLSX file it produces can be used with Google Sheets, Excel (both Cloud and desktop Excel!) an any other spreadsheet tool that supports this file format. (XLSX is the de-facto open standard for spreadsheets.) 5600+ teams are actually happy with it.

(Discl. it is a paid and supported app developed by our team. Free for 10 users.)

Hi @Gustavo Molinari ,

Atlassian transitioned Jira Cloud for Sheets to maintenance mode, with enhancements discontinued, in summer of 2022 (background here). This has resulted in many user-reported issues and increased system unreliability. The user community is full of post by users that lose connectivity, see frequent errors (503 and others), experience various data issues (duplication, missing data, etc.) If reliable exports are important to your business, we recommend to try our Google Sheet Integration add-on. It works fundamentally different by exporting directly out of Jira via API calls. It is much more reliable and used by the largest organizations. Exports can be one-time, scheduled, or real-time You can also export much richer data to create more sophisticated reports (Assets, Changelogs, Projects, Sprints, Users, etc.). Everything directly controlled within Jira. Give it a try.

Kind regards,
The Mobility Team
