Hi Everyone,
I have seen some are experiencing a similar issue, but I am wondering if this is something Jira tech support is addressing seeing as it is a glitch in the software. In one of my projects, I keep having issues disappear because they are being automatically tagged as "Done" by the system even though they are still in a pending queue. I have taken a screenshot for reference. I know some have implemented complex workarounds, but I am wondering if there is a simple solution. Please help!

This is not an uncommon problem - an inexperienced administrator has added the "resolution" field to the create and/or edit screens.
It's not possible to leave it blank (meaning "not done" or "unresolved") when it is on screen, so anyone creating or editing an issue ends up resolving it inadvertently.
Go look at the project settings, find the create/edit screens and edit them, removing the resolution.

Hello @Kimberly Cummins
Welcome to the community.
Issue Statuses are defined within Issue Status Categories. Those categories are color-coded and are:
The status you are showing is green which indicates it was defined as a Done type of Status. When such Statuses are used in a Workflow there is a checkbox to say if the Resolution should be set when an issue transitions to that Status.
That could account for how the Resolution field is getting set in your issues in this Status.
One option would be to recategorize the Ready For Review status into the "In Progress" Status Category. I'm not sure (without testing) if that would clear the Resolution field on such issues. I suspect it would not.
Another option is to uncheck the box shown in the above image, within the workflow.
