Jira integration with Jama

Hive Mind,

I have a BU looking at Jama Contur and they want to tie it with one of the Jira instances I support and I was wondering if anyone has experience with that intergration and have any lessons learned that they would be willing to share. I'm not looking for vendor feedback saying "we can do that", but rather folks who have put the thing in place and have experience with it.

My chief concern is permissions and the two way sync and how that has been going or lessons learned that you have.
