Jira instance suggestion

Hi there !

Is Jira data center is going to end in 2027, is this official notice?

Can you suggest which Jira instance is best for long term project (10 years), if user don't want to use Jira cloud then which instance is best by considering end life of Jira data center.

Hi @aadarsh_gupta  ! End of life in 2027 is for most recent LTS release, not for Jira DC product itself.

Hi @aadarsh_gupta !

Jira 10.3.x you should pick if plugins you want to use with it are having already compatibility with 10.3.x. Starting 2027 this release will have end of life. 

If you are planning to use some uncommon plugins that are not yet having released versions with commpatybility of Jira 10.3.x you should pick 9.12 Jira version and do upgrade later.
