I am working on a transformation programme, where we only need to track the releases, milestones, and issue for a programme with multiple streams.
The way I see it is, I have 2 tooling options. 1 in our of the box jira and the other is using portfolio. I’d prefer to use out of the box jira. Does anyone recommend a hierarchy.
Out of the box
Project = program
Initiative(as a label) = project stream
Version = milestone
Release (custom field) = releases
task = deliverable
Using portfolio
Project = program
Initiative = project stream
Theme = milestone
Version = releases
Épica&task = deliverable
