Jira fisheye integration

Hi, I am looking for a way to do the following with fisheye.

Currently we have use it in jira (it is some legacy version), when creating new issue, there is a checkbox that we can create a branch in perforce. We need to:
1) allow user to associate it with existing branch in p4 (so multiple jira issues might end up in a single p4 branch)
2) be able to force this - there must always be a branch for a specific issue

Also, is there an API that would allow us to track all these connections? For example, "this is the branch name, tell me all jira issues that are in it" and vice versa, "this is the issue number, tell me which branch it is in".

Does the new version of jira / fisheye allow the above? (or any version)

JIRA integration with Perforce is limited to creating Perforce Jobs, you can see details here.
