Jira filter update

Question:

Please let me know if you dont understand, but:

Since two weeks ago my Jira received an update, and now i feel a little bit lost.

I have a filter, in which i have made some specific things i have made the search our from. In that filter i have let´s say 100 issues.

I then, as it worked like two weeks ago, want to press the first issue, the first issue would open and i could navigate in the issue  in the top of the ticket på using the <-/-> buttons.

Now when i press the first ticket, it just opens a a small window to the right, on the same screen.

If i then have to go though 100 tickets, it will now take a lot of work and some more time.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @MANG , you're not imagining it, plenty of people hit this after the change. The old issue navigator was replaced by the new issue search, and with it the per-issue Back and the left/right arrows went away; clicking a result now opens it in that right-hand panel, and there's no setting to put the old arrows back.

The good news for your 100-ticket run is that you don't have to click each one. Keep the list open, click the first issue so the panel opens, then just tap J for the next ticket and K for the previous, and the panel moves down the list with you. Once it's in your fingers it's quicker than the old arrows were. Press ? on that screen any time to see the full shortcut list.
