Jira field values removal

Bindu Shrivastav
August 18, 2021

Hi Team,

Our project now has transitioned to maintenance mode.  During initial project development phase people created too many fixVersion values.

Many of these values are not needed and not applicable.

But in backlog, too many fixVersion show up even though there are no issues assigned that value, cluttering the view.

Is there a way to remove those value options from the fix version field?

Thank you so much in advance,

Bindu Shrivastav

Delete them from the versions page in project settings @Bindu Shrivastav

That automatically removes them.

Hi Ismael,

This is about removing values, not fields, Right?

Isamael,

Thank you .  I found that Versions are listed and can be edited from Summary option.

Project setting-> Summary then, under 'Versions' section click 'Show all'

This gives option to edit/delete.
