Each time I try to edit the workflow scheme of any of my projects, I get the following error message " The Jira server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation."
All of the following workarounds have been tried:
1- Restarting the PC/ Browser
2- Logging out then logging in again.
3- Using another browser.
4- Changing the Internet connection
5- Using a different device.
The problem still persists. Any clue, please?

Try creating a new Workflow Scheme and then sub out the old scheme for the new one.
