Jira error This issue can't be displayed right now.

I'm getting this error when I try to access a specific issue. There's only 1 issue that invokes this error message.

The issue does not seem to be deleted. 

I do see a spike in the DB Connection pool. 

What can have happened?

If there is no issue security level on the issue preventing you from viewing it then there’s something on this specific issue impeding it from being opened.

Search for the issue via issue key in the issue view.

Does it appear?

Does the spike appear every time you access the page in question?

If yes, roll your logs and try accessing the page to see what is happening. You can also enable sql logging if nothing is returned to see what sql queried when you attempt to access the page.
