Jira due date getting set as 1950 year when actually year 2050 was specified

Hi 
When updating jira due to year 2050 it actually gets set to the year 1950 .
Can anyone help to understand what is the issue?

Have you tried changing your date/time formats in Look and Feel to use 4 character years, and also update the date picker format settings under System > General Configuration > Advanced Settings to also use 4 character years?

SLA is getting auto-calculated with one of the tools.
And it is correct as those tickets are the lowest severity tickets.
