Good Afternoon,
I am looking into connecting Jira to Domo. I have a jira account already setup to be used by DOMO however I am receiving the following error and need to make sure the account has access to all fields:
’m getting this error in Domo: “Jira reported a 400 Bad Request {"errorMessages":["Field 'issuetype' does not exist or you do not have permission to view it."],"warningMessages":[]}
Do you know what group permissions I need to assign to the Jira account that Domo will be using?
Hi @Matt Sardi
in the past users came across the error message also when authentication did not work - so the easiest idea would be to check if the password provided to Domo is a correct one.
For the question to permissions (the question is absolute valid!) I would go the easy way and login with credentials you normally use for Domo and navigate in Jira - if you can see that you can open an issue using those credentials there are indeed fine.
If an error occurs you can dig deeper (in Jira, not yet in Domo).
Agreeing with Alex it would be useful to get further information in case you cannot get it working.
Cheers,
Daniel
Hi @Matt Sardi ,
Im not familiar with Domo. However that error message states that Jira can't find a field with the name "issuetype". Usually, issuetype is a keyword/variable used by Jira which defines the type of an issue. Is there anything more you could provide to us, in order to help?
