I have the Jira Cloud app installed on Microsoft Teams and had it on a trial before which then expired and got deleted. I'm back to using Jira Service Desk cloud but I can't connect it to the new tenant, it just keeps saying please enter valid issue key.Screenshot 2020-04-03 at 10.27.18.png

Hi @Phil Shilling,

It would be great if you could contact our support team by going to the following link https://www.softserveinc.com/en-us/msteams-atlassian-privacy-policy and filling in the form provided there, so we could resolve the issue for you and prevent anyone else from encountering the same problem.

Best regards,

Hi Phillip,

If I understand the problem here, you are using Microsoft Teams and trying to connect this to your Jira Service Desk Cloud, but are unable to do so.

I have to admit I am not familiar with using Microsoft Teams, but perhaps I can offer some suggestions here.  I found a very similar post that seems to be the same problem over in https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/When-i-search-for-issue-from-teams-i-get-error-message/qaq-p/1036015

In that post, it seems that this addon is created by SoftServe.  They noted that it looks like you are being prompted to enter an issuekey in Jira.  These tend to look like XYZ-201 (where the XYZ is the project key and the 201 is the issue number in that project).

If that doesn't help here, you might want to reach out to them directly for help on this topic in their support request portal.

Regards,

Andy
