Hey community, can someone explain to me why jira format emails address and add slash after saving my comments (in the new view)?

Hi,

It looks like there is some wiki markup seems to be entered into the field, but this is not being rendered as expected.   This is not behaving in the way I would expect here.  So I have created a support ticket so that our Cloud support team can take a closer look at your environment to see if perhaps there is something in the configuration of this project that might be factor here.
