Hello Jira team,
I need your help with the following request:
We use Jira in our company and I am the Salesforce admin. I know that there are some Jira automation which can pull data from Salesforce but it would nice if we can have a call and show me these possibilities.
Adding on the above, is it possible to update Salesforce fields by using Jira.
We can organise a call on Tuesday 4th of November between 10:00 - 15:00 CET time to discuss the posibillities of Jira.
Thank you,
Ioannis.
I'm the product marketing manager of Elements Connect, an Atlassian marketplace app that can help you to pull your Salesforce data into Jira.
Connect reads Salesforce via a REST API data source and displays it in connected fields on Jira issues, with no list duplication, and your Salesforce data will be updated in real time.
You can also build cascading dependencies so pickers filter the data from Salesforce.
It also works on JSM requests, as it is explain in this use case in our documentation.
Elements Connect has a free trial of 30 days (and stay free under 10 users) so don't hesitate to give it a try !
You could use Jira automation to use web request option to get information from salesforce via the salesforce API
Or you can also look at 3rd party integration that connect Jira and Salesforce.

If you want ot connect with people, I suggest to reach out to an Atlassian partner near you, see https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/
I also work for a partner as shown in my name, you could reach out to us.
