Can we setup an automation rule to send out the query in the following format to a group of people.

Hi Darren,

You can actually setup a Subscription to do that - fast and easy. 

After you save the filter, just click on Details to share it (Permissions) and New subscription to send the email each day. 

You can also do an Automation For Jira rule if you want using the Scheduled trigger. That will allow you have more control of the email text. 

You would use Lookup Issues as the New Action to get a list of issues.

John Funk provides a perfectly reasonable solution to subscribing users to a specific Jira filter.

When you say 'send out', what do you mean? Send a link, an email, slack message?
