Jira automation rule for assigning epic to all related tasks and bugs

I am looking forward for the automation rule in jira where if i assign an epic to a story, its automatically assigned to its related tasks and bugs as well.

Hi, @attaf sheikh 

Welcome to Atlassian Community

You can create rule, which selects all linked issues and assigns Epics to them. It's example for Cloud Jira, bat for Server/DC it's the same (you need to look at Epic Link field changes)

           Copy Parent from Trigger issue

This trigger wont work when for eg: if i create bugs after testing and link it with story, it doesnt automatically assign the epic to it. 

How to cater this point?

Hi, @attaf sheikh 

In that case you can make additional rule, which will trigger, when you link issues, and make necessary actions:

- it will look for Epic existence in linked issue

- if Epic exists, add it to required issue
