Jira advanced roadmaps auto-scheduling respects epic dates when I want them to be dynamic
When I use auto-scheduling in jira plans / advanced roadmaps it appears to respect the existing start / finish dates of an epic, rather than dynamically updating them (even when epic dates are only roll-ups of items included). Shouldn't epics be auto-scheduled rather than being treated as static?
For instance:
- Existing epic start and finish date is 01 November to 31 November
- Auto-schedule schedules child items such that they are all completed by Noveber 14
- Epic finish date stays as 31 November rather than dynamically updating to November 14
