Hi . I just tried to integrate Jira to Jira but receiver is not getting any request in its automation.
Background: I have Jira source and Jira Destination Instances and both are cloud. I created incoming web hook in Jira Destination under automation. Then I go to Source Jira and create web hook using admin right under “web hook “ section, I creat a web hook , paste the url link taken from Destination Jira & leave the secret blank(even i tried with secret but not work). I checked issue created check box and for specific project but still failed.
I have used postman to direct call destiantion Jira with webhook url and secret and its working fine and also in order to check calling from source is going well , i used weburl as mentioned in this url https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-verify-if-webhook-is-being-triggered-in-jira-cloud-1252426015.html#:~:text=You can get a test,paste onto the URL section.
lastly one more point i read articles in which it is mentioned automation also alternative for webhooks but my question is that if you have numerous operations on issue, like create,edit,update, delete and want to syn with other one so its not feasible right because you need to write automation for every operation.
