Jira TAT Report – Export Asset (Application) Field Instead of Application ID/Object ID

We are using Jira Service Management and Jira Software Cloud. For TAT tracking, we are using the “Status Free Time” add-on.

In this add-on, we are using the Asset – “Application” field (Asset) in the column section. However, when we export the report to Excel or CSV, the Application ID/Object ID is displayed instead of the Application name/details.

Could you please advise how we can download the TAT report with the Asset field (Application) displayed properly? Is this possible using the same Status Free Time add-on, or do we need to use a different add-on or reporting solution?

This question should be asked to the vendor/developer of the app "Status Free Time" is this is possible, as the report option seems to be in the app,

I have raised the request with the vendor. In the meantime, could you please let me know if there are any alternative add-ons available for generating TAT report?

Hi @Venkat Jira Admin,

Marc is right that this one is the vendor's to fix, since an Assets field stores an object reference that the report itself has to resolve.

Since you asked about alternatives, and if you are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace: JXL for Jira (the app my team and I work on) can produce this as a single sheet. Turn around time comes from history columns such as Time in status, Time between statuses, and Time between created and resolved, and you can attach a work calendar so only working hours count. Assets object fields sit alongside them as their own columns, and the whole sheet exports to Excel or CSV.

Given the trouble you have had, I would trial it against your own object schema first to confirm the export reads the way you need.
