Hallo, aus Jira heraus lässt sich Jira Software nicht updaten. auf Version 7.10.2, weder automatisch noch manuell (Linux eigener Server).

Unfortunately this did not work. I have also set all plugins in safe mode, but the software "jira software" still does not start. Error: Jira software is licensed but not installed.

On your screenshot, it's a bit cut off on the right.

Can you have a look at method #3 below and see if you have the Install button on the right? You'll need to make sure you're the System Administrator in order to install the app. If you don't see the button it's possible you don't have the full permissions.

Hello shannon. Thank you for your answer. I also use the update button to install Jira software. Enclosed the screenshot also for the error message. The whole thing runs under Linux. So far, there have never been any problems with the updates.

• JIRA application does not start due to disabled bundled plugin

Hi Thomas,

Can you let us know what the issue is you're having to update Jira exactly? I understand that your instance of Jira is licensed but not installed, and you're trying to do an update to version 7.10.2. Is this correct?

Can you let us know what errors you're running into along the way, and what version of Jira you're coming from?
