Anyone else noticed:
My `enter` keystrokes go unanswered. 🙃
I’m not 100% sure about the timeline of when this functionality stopped working, but it was fairly recent.

@Trevor Thompson Wondering if the work mentioned here is related to the change.
Hi Emily, welcome to the Community!
We've not had luck reproducing this issue on the Atlassian side so far. It's possible the Slack client version may be a factor. Would you be able to check what version of Slack you're running (and also, which operating system are you on)? Hoping we can find the cause and get this straightened out for you!
Thanks!

Hi Daniel,
Thanks!
Chatted with Slack, as they released 4.8.0 a few weeks ago, but it's not available on all channels.
I've restarted Slack. I'll restart my system in a bit and will report back if that changes anything.

Thanks for confirming Emily! I've tested again using 4.7.0 and noticed what I hope is the cause! The functionality for multi-line still works, but you have to use shift+enter for the modal window in Slack instead of just the enter key. After re-reading your post, I think that may be what's happening. Can you try it again using Shift+Enter to create newlines and see if it works?
Thanks!
