I am not sure what happened but when i installed Jira Service Desk into fresh Jira Software installation, this is how the fields display for the Service Desk ticket.
If I look at the fields configuration there isn't an option to edit the field or do anything with it
Then if I look at the screen itself there is no way to customise the field either?
So I am at a bit of a loss as to how to get this to display correctly. I purchased a basic license of Service Desk and Software to see if maybe we can expand it across the company, however things like this are annoying especially when straight out of the box.
Hello. I have the same problem too.
Installed jira service desk 8.2.2 by default.
Clearing plugin cache does not help for me.
- Stop the JIRA instance
- Delete JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins and JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins (just these two folders)
- Restart JIRA

Are you saying that you have tried deleting those plugin folders and still the problem exists? or are you suggesting this as a fix?
