I have a confluence page that I have added a couple of Jira Product Discovery Idea hyperlinks in it. I want to know if there is a way to automatically add the confluence page link to the Jira Product Discovery idea.
For example, currently if I add a Jira task link to a confluence page, the confluence link is automatically added to the Jira task. If I have multiple confluence pages that reference that Jira task link, then all of those confluence page links will be visible in the Jira task.
I want to know if there is a feature like this with Jira Product Discovery because I don't see my confluence links in my Jira Product Discovery idea after adding the idea link to my confluence page. It seems I have to manually add the confluence links in the details. I know that we can add a hyperlink field to our Jira Product Discovery project, but that field is limited to one link, and I still have to manually add the confluence page.
Hi @Jamie Maiquez ,
As far as I know, links between Confluence and JPD don't work bi-directionally, like you described (yet). There is this document that indicates how Confluence and JPD work together.
I'm also referencing this other post, since it seems similar: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-questions/Confluence-page-links/qaq-p/2030482
I remembered discussing this at some point but I totally forgot I asked the question Carlos mentioned 😅
Currently, JPD feature requests are only handled via Community product group, but there's a recent question/discussion about moving those to JAC for better visibility and the ability to track the same: Feature request submission on public roadmap
