Hi all
I have the following issue in Jira Plans - instead of the "correct" Workflow order, as given in the opsbar sequence as well as the Jira Adminstration of Status, it shows the following mix-up of Funnel/Analyze/Backlog. I am on Jira DC.
Any help here is highly appreciated as without the correct order, Plans is impossible to use for us, if sorted incorrecly ;)
Jira Plans Sorting:
Workflow Sequence (Opsbar) - as it should be given in Plans, otherwise Plans does not make sense at all...
Jira Administration Status
I tested this now: the order is the following in Jira Administration Status Section. Creation date of status "new" later than "open".
And if I then create a plans and sort by status, it shows the Status "new" on top - as it is the first status in the workflow and even though it was created later than the standard status:
--> so it is working according to workflow after all. The creation date of the status does NOT impact then Jira Plans.
BUT why then, does my plans mentioned above work differently? Any ideas?
Is it actually alphabetically within a category?!? OMG.

Hi @M0214104
Not sure it order them by Id or order in the statuses page, but it do not follow ops-sequence because it's defined by workflow and order transition not status.

well, I moved them into the correct order in the admin section of status - but still no change. So my guess is, that somewhere in the back, it was the FIRST creation that sets the order then and is visible here.
Can anyone confirm this by giving an example of their plans and their "incorrect" order of some other status in a workflow vs creation of status?
