I have set up a Jira Plan with a filter that selects Epics and Stories based on a tag. All views display the expected data set, except the Summary page which has included and Epic & Stories which do not have the selected tag, but do have a due ate within the range set on the summary page.
This alters the status overview percentages because of the additional work outside of the plan.
Is this a known issue or have I missed some configuration within the plan
What's the JQL for the plan you are working with? What data sources are you using?
Sorry for the late reply, but you can use this page View and change the scope of work in your plan | Jira Cloud | Atlassian Support try using JQL to find the data you are looking for! @Andy

I still get some odd results with the plans. I have set up a plan using a simple filter which selects work items based on a label (labels = ...) . The filter returns a set of work items correctly, but the plan does not include all the filtered work items. Looks like it excludes completed work items for some reason.
The plans own filter is including all items so shouldn't exclude anything.

Can you send a screenshot of the plan scope? Also copy and paste the JQL please! Based on what you are describing it sounds like its picking up issues that are not resolved only.

On one plan we would expect 8, but only see 6. The missing 2 work items both have a 'Done' status.
I have a second plan where we expect 83 work items, but only see 42. Some of the work items that do appear, have the 'Done' status, so it's not as simple as just excluding 'Done' items
