Jira Open Source

Is Atlassian offering Jira Open source. I am aware that atlassian provides a 7 day trial license but would like to know if we have open source jira for open source projects as we have for github in which repos are public.

If you have a Jira license, you can download Jira Core source code.

Remember that while the source is available to licencees, it is illegal to share it with others.

The other thing I think this question might be about was that Atlassian grant free licences to open source projects (although those are limited and you do not get source code with them)
