Jira Mngt - Give role for changeing fileds in a specific project

Hi Guys, 

We are building a new project in Jira Mng we i am admin. 

However, I'can't add or modify a field. 

Jira's documentation is not accurate. For, when I log at the right page, I have only a reader view. 

Any one has a clue ?

Are you project admin or Jira admin, also as this is a Jira Service Management project, have you been granted or can you grant yourself a JSM license?

If you have a JSM license, do you have the role administrator and/or Service Desk Team on the project?

If you are not Jira admin and the project is a company managed project, only Jira admins can make changes to field configurations, field configuration schemas and create custom fields if required.
