Hello,

We are planning to migrate JIRA to cloud and I saw in this document it says November 2023, It'll discontinue site import for server to cloud migration. While, over here it says February 2024.

May I know what change will be taken in both timeline?

Thank you

Drashti

Hi @Drashti Pandya welcome to the community.  The first reference to Nov 2023 refers to the 'Site Import' tool which won't be supported, you'll need to use the 'Migration Assistant' after that. (which I used, and it worked great!)

The Feb 2024 date refers to the end of support for Server based systems.

Hope that helps.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Those docs are about two different things.

The first one is the end of support by Atlassian for doing support on a migration.  If you're not in the end phases of a migration by November, you've left it far too late.

Server support ends in February, not migration support.

You can still do a migration after the end of support for both of them, but you won't get any support from Atlassian.
