Jira Kanban board content shrinks randomly

When viewing my board, the content seems to shrink or zoom out randomly. If I refresh my browser, it goes back to normal, but it just ends up zooming out again. I have tried signing out and signing back in, checking to make sure my zoom level was not changed as well as clearing my browser cache, but nothing seemed to help. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Environment:

OS - Windows 10 Pro version 10.0.19044

Browser - Edge version 97.0.1072.69

Would you please clarify what you mean by your statement: "When viewing my board, the content seems to shrink or zoom out randomly"?

For example do you mean:

1. when I do nothing and observe the browser tab view, things randomly shrink/zoom in size of their own accord;
2. when I open/close the issue panel, the text on the board shrinks/grows;
3. something else?

#2 seems to be built-in behavior when I observe a board for open/dismiss of the side panel(s) for an Edge browser.

Hi Bill, in Edge the content shrinks down when I'm viewing the board and the only way to get it back to the correct zoom level is to refresh the page. I have this same issue with Friefox as well; however, with Firefox the content goes back to its original size once I close the details sidebar tab. You may be right that this is a browser specific issue with Edge do I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done on Jira's end unfortunately.

Also...you may want to check your display scaling, as I recall a ticket about zoom/screen control display issues (i.e. buttons) when using high resolution monitors and setting to any recommended scaling above 100%.

Several of the board reports have this symptom, with the only work-around of "try a lower zoom".

My first guess, and that's all it would be, is that this is a browser related issue. It would be interesting to see if you can reproduce this in a browser other than edge. It would also be interesting to see if CTRL +/- has an impact.

My zoom level is set to the default 100%. If I change it, it will zoom in but once it's back to 100% the content on my Kanban board is still shrunken down.
