I would like to use Team-based Kanban for our yearly planning schedules. Question: is there any possibility for entering a task with more than 1 days duration? E.g: X-Mas Meeting.
I would add such event as epic (has no parent or child) and now I see only "clone" for solution.
Thank you for the experienced answers.
Hi @Bernadett Sándor and welcome to the Community!
Duration can be specified in (at least) 2 different ways. Either use the time tracking fields (consisting of Original Estimate, Remaining Estimate and Time Spent) to indicate how long / how much work you expect work to take. Or use Start date and Due date fields to mark the beginning and end of a task on your project timeline.
Hope this helps!
Thank you.
One more question maybe you could help me: is there any option to make the date of the task/epic visible on the timeline? So I can use it as a timeline with milestones indicated in one view. Like by another software OpenProject.
I know that I might ask stupid things as beginner but momentan I am struggling with having the right settings for the aim of a yearly finance planning calendar.
